I hesitate to point this out, but did anyone else notice what ABC did after airing the Capitol memorial service for President Ford? In it, Mrs. Ford had been shown probably half the time and much was made about "Betty Ford." Then, once Charlie Gibson signed off, the VERY first thing that came up was a silent title screen for "Ugly Betty," which apparently was the show the service interrupted.
Rarely have I cringed so badly at a television faux pas. I'm hoping big-time that this happened only in my local market.
(I'm just sayin'.)
